Oh painting, my old and dear friend, you have all the answers in yourself, when everyone looks at you to cultivate a meaning for them.  You are intermingled with the warp and woof of the moment, it is not your job to record what I want, instead, you are the healer of the remembered images, and how humbly from time to time you create moments that miraculously release the rivers of dopamine and serotonin flow to the brain. You are not solving any problem. You don't light the darkness, but for a moment, you show flashes of a reality outside the dualities like light or dark, good or bad, guilty or innocent, torture or pleasure.  The moment when God and Satan can shake hands and retire.
